50.000 Euro to the foundation fit

Automotive supplier LINDE + WIEMANN intends to push the innovation potential of the University of Applied Science (THM).

The Dillenburg based automotive supplier LINDE + WIEMANN donated an amount of 50.000 Euro to the "Foundation of Applied Research, Innovation and Transfer" (fit) of the University of Applied Sciences Middle Hesse (THM) "As a local business company, we want to contribute and ensure qualified development of the innovation potential of the University of Applied Sciences Middle Hesse. This support is not only an active sponsoring, but also an evident investment into the future.

"As the foundation supports the centers of excellence and LINDE + WIEMANN is cooperating with 3 of them, our effort will lead to a long-term win-win situation.", said the CEO of L+W, responsible for Market and Sales, Dipl.-Kfm. Ulrich Schoof, while handing over the cheque in Gießen. The president and CEO of the foundation, Prof. Dr. Frank Runkel, appreciates the engagement of LINDE + WIEMANN as an example of a sustainable partnership between science and economy. "A few years ago, LINDE + WIEMANN has already supported the installation of a CAD-laboratory in the Engineering department by donating a considerable amount. I am thankful and do really appreciate the continued support."
