Change of the Management Board at LINDE + WIEMANN

As of 31 December 2021, Ulrich Schoof, CEO and Chairman of many years of the LINDE + WIEMANN Group, handed over his position to Michael Hengstmann. He will continue to accompany the company as active shareholder in the corporate bodies in the future.

Under the management of Mr Ulrich Schoof the company has been growing from a local provider of stamping parts to an important supplier of international OEM customers of the automobile sector in the past 25 years. Despite the difficult market environment, LINDE + WIEMANN has managed to secure the group financing on a long-term basis recently, thus creating the basis for a strategically important positioning and conceptual further development in an industry which is driven strongly by the change and in which above all topics as e-mobility, sustainability and decarbonisation are in the focus.

  • “On behalf of the Management Board and the whole company, I wish to thank you, Mr Schoof, for your visionary and highly esteemed work,†the new Chairman Michael Hengstmann appreciated the successes and achievements of his predecessor (due to the corona situation) in a smaller setting in December 2021. The course is set for a successful transformation of the company. The vision now has to be carried into the future.

Since November 2020, Michael Hengstmann has been member of the Management Board of LINDE + WIEMANN. He worked as manager with different medium-sized companies and subsidiaries of groups in Gemany and abroad and has comprehensive experiences of many years in the automobile industry and the mechanical engineering.
